Nissan Integrates Public Charging into MyNISSAN App

Nissan has introduced the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network in Canada, integrating public charging accessibility and payments within the MyNISSAN app for ARIYA drivers. This new network allows users to locate over 20,000 public charging stations, view real-time availability, and process payments directly through the app.


Seamless Charging Solutions


Nissan revolutionizes electric vehicle ownership with the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network, unifying vehicle management and public charging into one user-friendly platform. ARIYA drivers now enjoy effortless charging initiation at compatible stations, thanks to integrated payment options within the MyNISSAN app.


The network's reach extends through partnerships with ChargeHub, Shell Recharge, and Tesla, with plans for future expansion. While currently an ARIYA-exclusive feature, Nissan LEAF owners maintain access to charging location services via the NissanConnect EV app.


Broadening Charging Access


Nissan continues to enhance charging convenience by introducing a North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter for ARIYA owners later this year. This innovation will grant ARIYA drivers access to Tesla's extensive Supercharger network, substantially increasing available charging options across the continent.


Looking ahead, Nissan plans to offer EVs with built-in NACS ports for the Canadian and U.S. markets by 2025. This move aligns with Nissan's broader electrification strategy, which includes launching 16 new electrified models globally by the end of fiscal year 2026 under the Arc mid-term plan.


The NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network is part of Nissan's ongoing efforts to improve customer experience and make EV ownership more accessible. By simplifying the charging process and expanding charging options, Nissan aims to support widespread EV adoption and promote sustainable mobility in Canada.
